For reasons I can't comprehend, "Progressives" really hate progress. They are anti-technology, anti-democracy, anti-American, pro-Communist, Evil Leftists.
If you think freedom, economic growth, and a high-tech world are good things, don't support the "Progressives." They want everyone to "go back to the land." Yuck!

Seriously though, the "Progressive agenda" is simply to make the USA the best it can be. There's no secret agenda to turn the United States into a communist or socialist state. We just want to do things like make sure everyone has clean water, clean air, safe roads and cars, access to health care, etc. etc. Funny how conservatives don't complain about that safe water they're drinking all the time, because the Clean Water Act is socialist!! At least as much so as any other progressive concept they like to call "socialist".
