1. Is it just me or does it seem wrong that Duke Univ is being sued for anything ? They got stuck between a rock and a hard place and did what was right (in my book). I guess there is no loyalty...when you trane and educate lawyers they will come back and bite you in the **** ! So it's true that sharks eat their own !
2. Of course Nifong should be sued...and put in jail. Disbarment means nothing. He'll pack up and go to another state and start all over again...just like doctors do.
3. What about the girl ? How come no one is putting her in jail or suing (all be it she has nothing worth suing for) her ?
4. What about Jessie and Al who got on national TV and publicly defamed these fellows ? Shouldn't someone be suing them and perhaps shutting them up once and for all ?

1. Duke University jumped the gun by assuming any Duke LaCrosse player was guilty of anything by cancelling the season and firing the coach. They should have given it some time before punishing a boat load of people based on one womans accusations.
2. I agree with you. This man ruined lives, not to mention the office of the Prosecuting Attorney and the trust that the public puts into that office.
3. For whatever reason, they decided not to charge the woman with any crime. Not sure why.
4. I agree with you 100% here. Do not understand why those two men are allowed to get away with all their ****. These 2 are just as racist as the people they complain about. Actually, they're more racist because usually their complaints are unfounded and beneficial only to their cause, not justice.

OK Duke suspended those boys and tried them before their trial. They were effectively being punished, and kicked off the team. How horrible to be FOUND guilty of nothing, yet considered guilty by everyone. Come on, the whole student body shunned those guys. They were disgraced and for what---LIES. Duke didn't stand by and support it's students. I wouldn't go there if I received a FULL scholarship after the treatment those boys got!
Nifong needs to crawl back in his hole and suffer the rest of his life for being the ring leader in this shambles of justice.
The girl is beyond reprehensible. I doubt she cares what she did, if she even knows the extent of damage her lies caused.
Jesse and AL will always and forever be the poster boys for bad behavior sanctions. Black is right, no matter how wrong they are.

At the very least those guys indulged in very sordid and raunchy behavior that brought shame to their school and their team. There may not have been any DNA evidence against them (probably wore condoms) but that doesn't mean they didn't rape her. I know some people from the area who are still disgusted by that kind of party at Duke.
