Israel wouldn't exist without the Holocaust. It motivated the Jews to form their own state and got them sympathy from the rest of the world. But obviously it had other downsides for them. If you think it was an overall positive, feel free to do the same thing and kill yourself in an attempt to gain sympathy. Actually, feel encouraged to do it.
