The first and biggest thing she could do is make it *feel* like she loved and wanted me. Make it feel like she wanted to be with me and wanted to please me (not just try to stop me from being unhappy...there is a difference).
Come to think of it, there really isn't a second thing.

Well I am the wife, but the two best things that my husband could do to make me feel loved would be to wisk me away for a one night vacation (no kids). But I would settle for taking care of the chores so that they are done before I get home from work, or putting in the laundry ahead of time so that it is done when I am thinking I have to get started.
As for me making him feel loved, I hug and kiss him every morning before he leaves for work, pick out his work clothes, and make his lunch (Slipping a love note in when he isn't looking, on the napkin)

1) Say it.
2) Do something nice and unexpected - could be a small gift, could be something in the bedroom, or could be that she is going to take the kids to the park so I can have an hour to simply relax (we have three young kids who we love dearly, but can take a lot of energy).

my husband is my best friend my lover and my childrens father and i hug him everyday and tell him i love him. And most of all communication is a must.
