What you are talking about, is a type of carbon that is only found in fossil fuel. It is easy to track the steady rise in that carbon. It matches the rate of global warming that is causing Global Climate Change. What so many people don't understand, is the degree that science can measure the carbon increase, and it's effects. When they spout some nonsense, about when once upon a time, scientists claimed that another ice-age was coming, what they don't say is that was a theory put forth by only a few scientists, and quickly disproved ! There are only the 'paid' scientists claiming that it's not happening, or it's not gonna be that bad.
If you had 100 firefighters telling you that your house was on fire, and 2or3 told you they had no proof, what would you do?
You don't want to ever hear that your house is on fire, but does believing the couple of guys, that say what you want to hear, keep your house from continuing to burn?
We're already seeing the horrible effects right now in Texas !An of inch of rain in 15 min. for 4or5 hours straight ! When was the last time that happened? Things can go very bad, very rapidly on this planet ! If ya know what's coming, you'll be better off than the fools who are in denial now !

A quick look at Forbes top ten list reveals the answer. The most profitable companies in the world are oil companies. The oil companies are historically campaign friendly to conservatives who repay the oil companies by doing things like denying global warming, cutting taxes on wealthy corporations, and allowing drilling in environmentally protected areas.

I don't know, but even if people can't agree on what is actually causing the climate changes, it is myopic to ignore the fact that we need to clean up this planet, the pollution in the air, the water, the depleted top-soil, and the raping of the rain forests, are still damaging this planet, and these issues need to be addressed on their own merit....otherwise we will not have a planet to call our home, and we also may very well cause the extinction of our entire species!
By the way, Susi...Mr. Perfect, as you call him, uses mass transit, so please.....before you criticize someone, make sure you know what you are talking about!

that's the image of a broken government. edit: Wow, super answer from JS. DrM extremely has it desirable. the full develop economic device of the international is in keeping with source extraction (be it mining or agriculture or fishing) and the value further to those materials. Or, you may say, the fairness markets of the international are a great Ponzi scheme based on the destiny fee of materials. What happens whilst the materials run out? What happens whilst the source base is poisoned and could not produce or perhaps sustain? What cornucopian capitalism fails to nicely known is that materials are finite, the two in what could nicely be extracted and the quantity of waste which could be assimilated. the respond is a sustainable economic device. i won't be able to declare what that could appear as if, yet making socialism the bogeyman would not resolve any situation, it in easy terms serves to perpetuate the present device of graft and inequity. If our social structures have been sparkling and honest, capitol holders could artwork to guard the commons particularly of exploiting them for each final greenback. JS has spoke of what's happening now and why. Vote third occasion, vote eco-friendly, vote something yet status quo. In a rational international there could be no prefer for subsidies. human beings could % invariably sparkling unfastened power from the sunlight (unfastened as in unfastened from habitual value) particularly of finite and poisonous power from carbon, whether the up front expenditures have been extra desirable - because of the fact they could comprehend that the long term expenditures have been far worse. yet we don't stay in a honest sparkling economic device and in lack of understanding the we fall for the fake determination.

The liberals are the retards that insisted that schools be built in such a manner that the windows can't be opened and therefore require 24/7 heating and cooling.
That in turn raised a generation of spoiled little brats that can't bear to live in homes that arenot climate controlled.
(In response, we got an spiked increase in the asthma and allergy cases seen in the medical community, largely because our immune systems are never allowed to develop entirely. )
But now, we're supposed to believe a career politician from the wealthiest family in Tennesee, who stands to make billions off of selling "energy credits," has science all figured out.
Let me tell you what the right answer is. Stay out of it. Let the cost of oil rise and rise and rise. That will make the market for alternative fuels more attractive and the market will react accordingly.
The freaking government created this insane energy dependence we've got. Why in the world would we trust them to not muck up the alternative fuel markets???

Because we have only used these fuels for 80 years. Maybe we should blame the dinosaurs for the Ice Age. The earth is in a natural cycle of heating and cooling.

Defund terrorism? what the hell are you talking about....hatred fuels terrorists. Conservatives, unlike your catty remark suggests, are fully aware of the global warming! So what's sitting in your garage, Mr. Perfect?

There are several studies that show livestock are a very close second to cars in producing greenhouse gasses. Perhaps we should kill all the cows, sheep, pigs and horses.
