First, 2010 is a LONG way from now. Especially since you are only 18 years old. Are you sure you will want to get married in 3 years. I'm 23......when I was 18, I was convinced I'd marry my high school sweetheart. Well, we went to college in different parts of the state (not even that far of a distance) and we changed FAST. We got new friends and started having new hobbies. We wanted to do different things with our lives. We broke up by the end for freshman year. A few months later, I met my now bf/fi. We are planning on getting married in 2009, but only b/c we want to save up first and buy a house and such. It's not b/c we are in school, we've finished and have jobs. It's more like. We want to buy a house (as opposed to renting after the wedding) and that's going to cost us. So, we are waiting 1.5 years. Anyway. Do you want to know where my high school sweetheart is now? Last time I heard (through a mutal friend) he was "getting his masters" but only taking one class a week, he doesn't have a job and he lives in his parents basement. He has a bachelor's degree, but has decided not to find a full-time job while pursuing his "classes" or shall I say..."1 class." Bottom Line: Date Now. Come back here in late 2008/early 2009 and start asking these questions. Life will change A LOT between now and then.
