They were awesome back in the day before all the violence, misogyny and the n word was tossed around like a football! It's too bad you don't hear too much about these guys anymore, even though Ice is doing movies now. Also, Eazy E and Big Daddy Kane were off the chain too. RIP Eazy E!

Actually KRS one has a new album produced all by Melle Mel, and it is a refreshing breath of so called Hip Hop now. When the headliners for hip hop are Lil Wayne and Mims we are all in trouble lol.

Even though many people would think that I am a young kid being 23 yrs old and all but i really like Ice Cube his music in the late 80's not only as a solo artist but with NWA was really good as of late though not much good music from him but the Laugh Now Cry Later CD was good Mike Epps had me laughing and there was some really good tracks on the cd...

I remember everybody but Melle Mel. The 80's had the best hip hop rappers.these rappers these days say things just to make it rhyme,back in the day it had meaning.
