Hi there, so its finally the 21st birthday I am looking for a restaurant that my boyfriend and I could go to...Looking for a great and unusual atmosphere, somewhere the food is excellent and a lot yet not too expensive under $70 for both of us ideally. We usually do birthday dinners at PF Changs but we are looking for something a bit different and classy and a great atmoshphere. Hope i am not asking for too much?

Thank you for the help!

First off, congrats on your birthday. As for a good dinner location, you might want to check out Citizen Smith. It's on the Cahuenga Corridor on Cahuenga and Selma. More importantly you'll be a few steps from a couple of other bars (Margaritaville, Beauty Bar, Tokio Bar, & Star Shoes) where you can celebrate further.

Have a great time!

Check out this link for Oldtown Pasadena. They have a variety of different restaurants to eat at as well as bars and nightclubs (to dance off your dinner). Happy 21st birthday!

Check out Sitar. Indian cuisine, unusual atmosphere, and relatively affordable. Sorry, can't remember the street it's on but it's LA.

RocknFish is the best. The fish melts in your mouth and the steak is so tender it can be cut with a fork. You get a lot for your buck. most plates are around $25.

Ketchup or Tantra are good choices in your price range. If I were spending the money, the choice would Providence, Cut or Katsuya in Brentwood.
