both. although the addiction to crack is harmful to health. the addiction to driving can be harmful to a pocketbook. spending 100.00 a week on gasoline is insane and anybody that does it should be commited. i refuse. i have changed my ruetine drastically to cut the cost of gas and driving.

Gasoline. Because with crack, you are only physically hurting yourself, although you may be emotionally hurting others. But with a gasoline addiction, you are hurting the world. [and i dont mean to sound cheesy but it's true] First of all, you are using tons of gasoline and just burning up our resources. Second, you're putting all of that carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, even further devasting the world. Go mass transit. Or if you can't kick the driving addiction, a hybrid. OR WHAT ABOUT BUMPER CARS? :]

Honestly your question made me think... which really is worse? You can say crack only affects the user but it isn't true, there are all the dealer and terrorists out there providing it and it costs citizens money to put them in jail, etc. Gas is a bad habit too - we drive and drive and now are dealing with war because of gas and also global warming (if you believe in that, some don't). So I am stumped!

Crack cost 100 dollars a day, as opposed to 100 dollars a week driving, so driving would be less expensive.

no addiction is a good addiction. by it's definition an addiction is a bad thing.
Addiction
Definition
Addiction is a dependence on a behavior or sub-stance that a person is powerless to stop. The term has been partially replaced by the word dependence for substance abuse. Addiction has been extended, however, to include mood-altering behaviors or activities. Some researchers speak of two types of addictions: substance addictions (for example, alcoholism, drug abuse, and smoking); and process addictions (for example, gambling, spending, shopping, eating, and sexual activity). There is a growing recognition that many addicts, such as polydrug abusers, are addicted to more than one sub-stance or process.

There's nothing worst than being a crack addict. You can spend $100 an hour instead of a week. I used to drive constantly also when I first got my car. It's a wonderful feeling to be able to just go instead of depending on someone elese or standing at the bus stop.

Gas is worse, because when you buy crack the money stays local & does not go to some foreign country. Also, the crack proceeds are used to buy Cadillac Escalades (a domestic SUV) which helps Detroit, and Colt 45 Malt Liquor (another US product.

What's your car? a 1972 Lincoln? sounds like a ship car that guzzles gas. Crack is bad it ruined my ex's life, he's not allowed to see his kid.
Driving is nice anyways, better than taking the bus sometimes. I wish I can drive. I don't have a vehicle.

I don't know anybody who has committed suicide over a gasoline habit. Get a hybrid and donate all the money you save to a rehab center. Win, win!
