And of course there were no problems in England before immigration kicked in, were there?
The biggest problem Britain's got is there are too many white, dole scrounging scum. They're the ones that think all the jobs are taken by the blacks/ Asians/ eastern Europeans and that's why they can't get one. Bollocks. They haven't got a job because they DON'T WANT ONE! Sit in a dole office for half an hour on the day income support gets paid. You will hear dozens of excuses why someone can't work. Don't believe me? Just try it. Ask the staff if you don't believe me, they'll be happy to tell you.
My house has got a Sikh temple next door. Without exception, they smile and say hello whenever they see me. They work hard and deserve the cars they turn up in. Unlike the chavs on the estate across the road, who shout abuse at the 'ragheads' and me as well for the heinous crime of being ginger.
And to put it nicely into perspective, I know who I'd rather have to walk past in a dark alley. And it's not the little, very white, chavs.

Interesting, if not somewhat myopic question. The counter to it is do you think England would have survived if it did not open its doors to Europe? (This one is easier to answer - no).

England (and more correctly the United Kingdom of Great Britian and Northern Ireland) currently holds its postion in the world due to the fact that it is a open and accepting country.

Radical, Militant Islam can hold no sway over those who do not accept its barbarism any more than they accept the barbarism of the Mafia or other organised crime syndicates.

There is trouble everywhere and there will continue to be. Mainly because the world's countries have too many weak leaders.

I believe social tensions will only increase as time goes on. Too large a population in a relatively small area is bound to create friction as there is already don't forget a report released just the last week informing the Government stating there will be problems in the future. There are those who believe naively in some Urban utopia where everyone lives peacefully side by side only time will tell.

Well, I don't know about everyone else but the England I live in is actually quite a happy one........

I have a chat to my Indian shopkeeper and he always let's me know when he's got special offers on. His daughters are studying at Uni so he tells me. He always seems to have time for me.

The Polish bus driver always seems to get the bus on time and is pleasent to deal with.

The Japanese dentist - she charges me a lot, but she is very good at what she does and she tells great jokes!

My girlfriends dad is Iranian and his computer repair business is doing very well.

So all in all, I think everythings OK, maybe I've been lucky, but then I don't read all those horror stories that the tabloids print.

Oh and by the way I'm white and my family have lived in England for over 400 years and I class myself as fully English, but after doing some ancestry research, I am probably more Welsh than anything else!!!!
England has always been multicultural.

WHY HAVE I GOT A F****ING THUMBS DOWN FOR THIS, I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THAT - NOT HAPPY AT ALL.
I AM NOT A DO-GOODER LIBERAL (I LOVE BERNARD MANNING JOKES) AND NEITHER AM I A FAR RIGHT RACIST NUTTER. I LIVE MY LIFE NORMALLY AND THIS IS WHAT I FIND ON A DAY TO DAY BASIS, PEOPLE OF ALL RACES ARE NICE TO ME (I CAN'T HELP IT IF I SEEM TO GET ALONG WITH EVERYONE) PERHAPS THE PERSON WHO GAVE ME A THUMBS DOWN IS A STUPID SAD LONER WHO CAN'T RELATE TO PEOPLE OR LOOK THEM IN THE EYE AND HAVE A DECENT CONVERSTAION UNLESS THERE P***SED OUT OF THEIR HEADS.

Burkah Girl just answered your question. Radical Muslims cant live in peace with any other nation unless they are Islamic. And even then they have problems. Not saying all Muslims are radical, but how do you know the difference. I feel sorry for the muslims who have settled here, peacefully carrying on their lives over the past years, because, now they are having the finger pointed at them too.

What are you talking about!? have you seen parts of the Costa Del Sol and Normandy ruined by ignorant British tossers who cannot be bothered to make an effort to integrate.
I think it's Europe that should be worried!

No, because we allow them too.

Cannot remember who said it, even before my time, but you get the government you deserve.

And I am the first to admit by faults.
