Her husband was a nobody governor from a small state, practically was a no-show on the polls, and didn't even do that well, relatively speaking, in the early primaries. Then he ran like a bat out of hell to the White House. A lot more well-known people, including the incumbent President, got left in the dust. In the end, the true feelings of these people on the issues will come out, their personalities will bolster or hurt this fact, and someone will emerge. Your first friend is completely right.

Currently, Hillary Rodham Clinton has a solid 10 point lead over Barack Hussein Obama, she will likely win the Dem Party nomination.

Not because of name recognition (Obama has at least as much as Hillary now), but because she has the Democrats' party machine behind her. That's why she'll get the nomination.

I think it will work for her for some and against her on others, most agree that it will help her win the nomination but it will hurt in prez election because too many independents will not like her because of it. but she may make up for it with extra votes from women.

She will probably get the nomination as she has been hand picked by the CFR. Obama is CFR too BTW.
Clinton was called in by the CFR. He ran drugs out of Arkansas for Bush Sr. and the CIA. And this coming from a former Bill backer..........before I woke up.
Ron Paul in 08.

Trust me, the name recognition might get her the nomination, but I doubt it will get her the presidency. She's gonna have to do more than just flash her name. But I guess only time will tell.

Yes, and because even the Most Powerful Democrats are frightened of her/him.
They don't want to end up like Vince Foster, or the dozens of others in Arkansas that knew too much about the Clintons.
Hillary is a Communist.
BUT----not as Communist as the Little Muslim, Osama Obama or the "Breck Girl", John Edwards.
GO HILLARY!!!!!!!!

If anything is synonomous with clinton it is adultry. Her husband spoiled the namesake for most undecided people in this fine country of ours. however those who saw past bills mistake realize he helped our nation and his wife might too. So, basically yeah some people might vote for her due to her name.

Polls show that Hillary would lose against most of the Republican candidates. Democrats won't give her the nod if this holds true.
