Terroist camps could be for terrorizing another nation, not necessarialy America....

Not necessarily a traitor to the United States, but, a criminal, perhaps.

I believe for you to be a traitor, you would have to advocate the overthrow of the government or violence against it or its people. Or do something that would seriously harm the security of the US, either through transfer of classified material or equipment.

A case could easily be made that you knew or should have known that your(or whoever) setting up of a camp for terrorists, that some of those terrorist may and probably would attack targets in America. Which may be plenty to convict you of treason.

Probably don't wanna do it. Even if you weren't commiting treason, you are bound to violate some other law.
