Wow what a stretch. Pre-9/11 Bush had nothing to do with any of the Islamic world. After 9/11 we have been putting foot to as s. We were attacked at least twice pre 9/11 but that president was too busy gettin' blizowed in big house. When will you tree huggn', neo-hippies realize that Islamic extremists have been at war with us for 20 years? So because someone supports the troops, they can't drive the vehicle they choose to in a free country? Maybe you would be more happy in the middle east...with all those good people that "we" are murdering.

Wow. Since when does supporting the troops have anything to do with what car you drive? For your information, I know several military officers that drive SUV's and big trucks. Your question is without merit.

Anyone who drives a Hummer should have their head examined. Its not a question of what you can afford, its a question of dwindling resources.
I would just assume they would have a support the troops sticker. Wasting natural resources and thinking a sticker supports the troops in any way goes hand in hand.

That they support the troops? That maybe they aren't out to cut our country off at the knees? That they have been successful in life enough so that they can afford the vehicle of their choosing?
Do I wish that they wouldn't have bought a huge vehicle? Yes, because I drive a sunfire and I don't appreciate being roadkill and because people are stupid behind the wheel. Do I think that they are going to regret it someday? Yeah, probably.
Need I continue?

Driving an SUV has absolutely nothing to do with supporting the troops, does it? I can't see the connection, here. If you're thinking because the SUV needs more gas, that's really stretching it.

People drive big SUVs because they are incompetent drivers that are scared they will get killed in an accident but don't care if they kill someone else because of their incompetence.
Those with the bumper sticker fall into the category of people who are egotistical and want to flaunt it. In essence, they say I"m big and tough and will kill you if you disagree! If they are responsible, then why the SUV? (I'm sure there are exceptions.)
I support the troupes. I support fighting terrorism.
I'm conservative and I conserve resources.

Because the troops are protecting the oil that is needed for their SUVs and the profits of Exxon Mobil.......and they also support the senseless torture and murder of an entire people because they had the misfortune to live over "our" oil.

I think I would be envious that I don't make enough money to afford their vehicle in the first place or even to put gas into it on a regular basis.
And I also think they support our troops.
I don't think the two are related in any way.
