The Giants don't have a captain, with the only others in the majors being Derek Jeter, Jason Varitek and Mike Sweeney.

I am not sure if the Giants have one...and no the Yankees aren't the only team to have a captain...as I know the White Sox, Royals, and Red Sox all have team captains (Jason Varitek has the C on his jersey)...I am sure other teams have captains as well.

Paul Konerko is the captain of the White Sox, I don't know if the Giants have a captain, Jason Varitek is the captain of the Red Sox.

but most teams have a captain, he's just not "named".
