Does anyone possibly know how to acquire tickets to the MLB All-star game. Im not a season ticket holder to the team of the hosting stadium. Does anyone know how to possibly get tickets at a reasonable price, like $400-500 a seat or around that. Also a year advance or ASAP?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

A year in advance? They don't sell them with that sort of lead time.

If you only need ONE, don't care where it is in the park, and can stand the tension in the days before the game, try the home box office. Brokers who buy up blocs of tickets often get stuck with "onesies" and typically can return them to the box office (buying a lot gains you such privileges). Call every day as the game approaches. You might get lucky.

Otherwise, you need connections -- players, host team front office people, MLB central office people, corporate sponsor executives, etc. Or go with a ticket broker service or a season-ticket holder resale site (not all teams have this; I've bought Astros tickets, good ones, this way). Have a credit card with a high limit handy. Finally, there'll be scalpers somewhere nearby as the ceremonial first pitch approaches, but for them you need cash.

The one thing you DO want to set up well in advance is your hotel reservations. The industry generally goes with one-year maximum lead time.
