Someone who finds comfort in quantity. It fills their present void or appeases their fear of a future void. Much like hoarders...they objectify people. They do not see them as unique individuals with gifts and needs, but instead keep them around for appearances.

From experience...one does not have to be a quantity friend to be a quality friend. People criticize my "protective acceptance" of friends/contacts here, but I prefer to keep it real.
