I don't think even the next generation will see peace in the world.
As long as religion plays a major role in governing countries, there can not be peaceful solutions that everyone will agree to.

There is no such thing as world peace as long as humans as we know them are on it.
Evolution does NOT favor peace. Humans are successful because they are NOT peaceful.
Maybe some time in the far future peace will be necessary and we will slowly adapt to less aggression over time.

This is what GW Bush is working on right now! Give him just 2 more years and I think we will see peace on earth. Everyone will be saying "I'm sorry I doubted you George, I was just too ignorant to understand your methods."
