Of course it's fake and it's scripted. That's what makes it entertaining to watch.

Of course it's fake. Ever notice how a wrestler stamps his foot whenever he hits someone with his hand or arm to make the sound of a heavy blow. How about the wrestler that is on the mat looking like he is near death, barely able to move, and then unexpectantly rolls out of the way and jumps up all revitalized. Wrestling is so fake with such crappy acting that it makes me want to ...

ok people, do not use the word "fake". WWE is not real but its not "Fake" either. Let me explain:

Character storylines: scripted
Match results: scripted

BUT, to sell your character you need to sell your moves (and your opponent moves) and THAT requieres REAL wrestling skills. The wrestling part is real, the damage is real, the blood is real. You can tell by all the superstars injured right now or by some wrestlers like Mick Foley. (Mankind vs Undertaker, hell in the cell match. Try to "fake" THAT!!)

So in conlcusion, WWE is SCRIPTED, but is NOT FAKE. Please don't confuse "scripted" with "fake", two completely different words.

Fake? Fake?
Well, the anatomy is fake (surgically enhanced). The fighting is fake (or do you think you can bash someone in the head with a 2X4 and have them walk away?). The storylines are, well, stories.
But other than that, it's 100% real, fer shur, fer shur.

the matches have a preset outcome, so in that aspect yes they are fake, but all of the moves that they perform are real. they take years to perfect their moves, learning how to land so as not to get hurt. Its very intense and very athletically inclined, but i wouldn't ever call it a sport. Because the matches are predetermined i say yes it is fake.

Yes its fake. but there are some parts for example bleeding is real (i mean sometimes okay.) if u watch hogan knows best you will see him mostly go to the doctor to get stitches. or have his knee checked if broken. i have seen it in tv showed an xray of sprained or broken knee or leg. but most of it is fake except the slaming to ground. the punching if u see is somewhat fake.

Of course it's fake. They are real athletes and they make it look real which is to their credit. It's very entertaining too.

Fake? So what. I still like watching it once in a while.
