I have an idea, quit begging over the internet, get out of the house and get a job. If you were a responsible adult, you wouldn't have gotten yourself in this situation to beging with. If your husband was smart, he would leave you, and take the kids. Grow up, and accept resposibilities for your actions.

It's 1000% a scam - I heard EXACTLY the same story from 3 different people when I was trying to find my last place. DO NOT respond to these people or send any money or your address. These are Nigerian scammers If you want more proof, get the EXACT address of the property and check with your county's property records - it should only cost $5-10 to pull the records on a particular property. You'll see the name of the person on the deed is not the same as the person emailing you Or for free, just go to that address and ring the doorbell - and look at the name on the mailbox or any mail in the mailbox. If there is no answer, ring the next door neighbor's door and ask who lives there and if they moved to Africa. One poster here last week said he had people coming to his door trying to move in because a scammer had collected money from several different people - and the real property owner had no idea why his address was even used. Nobody moves to another country and rents their place to complete strangers over the internet. If he really wanted to rent out his place, he would call any local real estate agent and have them handle it - or would ask a friend or neighbor to rent it for him

Call the landlord, if the rent isn't due until the 1st explain it was mailed in error and won't clear. When will you have the money to cover the rent? Can you borrow on a credit card even with a 3% cash advance fee it will be cheaper then overdraft fees.

Sorry, I can't help you.

Perhaps you should have talked with your husband about your buying spree before you wrote out the rent check and he mailed it.

It also sounds like you have a shopping addiction that you need help with.

Im really sorry to hear about your situation, im not sure exactly what would get you money that fast in time for rent, i think you need to explain your situation to your husband and try to work things out.

and then I suggest you get another good stead stream of income coming in so that you wont have the problem again :)
