sweet 16 or car?

My dad said I could only choose one....damn! Which one should i choose?

i know suc*s right? i had to make that option too haha.. but I had another option (vacation wherever I wanted).. and I decided forrrrr.. the Sweet 16.. well im hispanic so its actually a quinceañera.. but my solution was easy.. he really wanted to get me the car instead of spending on the whole sweet 16 deal but i told him "Dad... vacation- ur always taking us out; the car- eventually youll have to buy me one!... so ok I want the party =)" ... haha and im 17 with my own car already thanks dad lol
But Idk.. I really wanted that party.. maybe youre not the same way... just go with what you would like to have more.. the party is funn for those few hours and all the memories youll have for the rest of your life and the car.. it sure helps alot- not that significally to me though a car is a car :S wait also think about it.. are u getting the car YOU want or whatever your parents want?.. it all depends -good luck

sweet 16. the car is most likely to get into an accident while ur in high school. sucks for you =/ my parents are getting me a car when i'm 18 and go to college. it's okay with me because i can still use my dad or mom's car.

Sweet 16- to spend time w/ friends and celebrate ur b-day

plus, ur parents will end up being tired of driving u around, and they'll let u get a car AFTER ur sweet 16 party

if I were you i would choose the sweet 16 because you would have more memories with it and maybe they might surprise you with a car... you never know also you have to pay a lot of money for the car thanx to to rising gas price and chances are, something bad will happen to it

I'm going to have to go with everyone else on this one. A car, hands down. You get the party that lasts a few hours, or the car that lasts years. I like cars better, anyway. Seems like the best choice to me.

I would throw a tantrum until he agrees on both.

If that doesn't work settle for the car that will last you a while although sweet 16 is great and will give you a million memories but it's only for one night.

I would absolutely chose the car.

You can still have a party if you chose the car. Sure, it won't be as elaborate and expensive as a Sweet 16, but you can still celebrate it with your friends. Which is all that matters, despite the fact that that sounded really cliche.

Choose the car if they'll pay for it! Then throw your own party and pay for it yourself. Do something simple, like invite some friends over and watch a movie. You don't have to blow money on something that'll only last you one night.

car of course. sweet 16 is one day, car lasts for years. yeah sweet 16 will give you memories, but a car will give you multiple memories and will be very useful when you want to go out with your friends somewhere or need to run errands, which errands probably means shopping for you...
