The universe formed from the big bang. I would say that aliens have nothing to do with the formation other than like us they would be parts of what has formed from the universe. Oh and by the way you can't know everything.

The predominant and currently scientifically accepted theory is the Big Bang Theory.
In the first era, the universe was a smooth, condensed patch no larger than a proton. Then, this suddenly expanded (in fractions of a second). In the next seconds, antimatter and fundamental particles (photons, etc.) started forming as the expansion slowed down. Within the next couple billion of years, atoms started forming from the fundamental particles, and stars and galaxies were built. Currently (in the last millions of years), dark energy (the name given to energy in space that we cannot yet identify) has started to accelerate expansion. The universe continues to expand, and may continue to do so or suddenly collapse one day again into the smooth, condensed patch it originally was.
Of course, this theory is only a theory. There are many who oppose it. You may believe in creation, and different religions may have different stories about the formation of the universe. This Big Bang theory, however, is the most widely accepted one by scientists.

We are not sure how or why the Universe began.
Soon afterwards there was a big bang
which released radiation, particles and clouds of atoms.
Gravity condensed the atoms into galaxies where stars appeared.
Stars created new types of atoms when they
grew old and exploded as supernovae.
The new atoms were released back to the galaxy,
and joined together into cosmic dust and molecules.
New stars, such as the Sun,
formed from these materials in the spiral arms
and the dust and molecules formed planets such as Earth.
Life appeared on Earth (we are not sure how)
and soon evolved into bacteria (germs).
The evolution of life was played out
upon the moving stage formed by continental drift.
Single cells with a well-formed nucleus appeared
and plants such as algae and animals such as protozoa evolved.
These single cells began to live together in colonies
to form more complex algae and invertebrate animals.
Vertebrates such as fish appeared
about the same time as the plants began to live on land,
rapidly followed by the invertebrates.
Later vertebrates (amphibians) also evolved to live on land,
and reptiles dominated the land for millions of years.
Plants, insects and vertebrates evolved
into flowers, bees and mammals
all at about the same time.
People appeared very recently
and rapidly dominated and transformed the entire planet,
also learning how to leave it.
Computers are now being invented and have already
left the Earth and begun to explore the solar system.
They will soon begin to design themselves,
and so become independent of their human inventors.
There are vast resources in space and huge amounts of energy,
so computers will rapidly colonise this corner of the Galaxy.
The Sun will eventually burn up the Earth,
but by that time organic life will be largely irrelevant.
The Universe will probably end by cooling and expanding to almost empty space

What basis would there be for aliens forming the universe, it's more likely that if there are aliens that the universe formed them.

we can not accept this but we believe it as big bang theory. the theory by which the large mass called big bang exploded into gases, rocks , etc made the universe. we cannot say as aliens build it because without universe there would be no alien.

hello and good evening to you...
William Y gave you a reasonable answer. Some of the God Freaks stepped in there with their standard baloney and myth responses. And you asked to know "everything." Well, I don't think that is going to happen.
It is fairly obvious to me that anyone who sits down at a keyboard and types out such narrow minded questions has no concept of the total size of the Universe, the vastness of it and all of its various complexities. To attribute the creation of the Universe to some particular group or individual is right at the edge of pure stupidity in my view. However, I do believe in the right of others to have ideas which seem stupid to me.
The problem comes in when those holding stupid ideas insist upon forcing those viewpoints and ideas upon others. Then we are no longer talking about the scientific issues of Space... At that point we are forcing religious views and dogmas upon people with less opportunity to learn than we have.

No we can't say that aliens made the universe. We can't say that we have any proof at all of what the catalyst for the big bang was.

Well, where did the aliens come from?
No, the universe has order and it was created by The Creator.
It takes way more faith to believe anything else.
