im going 2 camp and theres a HUGE water slide and i really wannt ride it but im gonna be on my peroid.... my mom dosent want me to wear tampons and we have to wear shorts if i wear a pad it will probably come out!! heeeelllllppp!!!!!!!

The dumbest thing I've heard is that moms don't want their daughters 2 wear tampons b cuz ur gonna get devirginized!!! I was in swimming in middle school and I had 2 use tampons. Till this day I use them. I HATE pads. They r so messy and stinky! ( I only use pads 2 go 2 sleep.)W/ tampons I can do ANY activity I want w/ out worrying about staining. They r so comfortable when properly inserted. Ive experienced, while using a tampon, that I don't cramp as much! I know that's weird. I can go on throughout my day as if I wasn't even on my period! I suggest you buy a small pack of tampons, I recommend the teen ones or smallest size to start. Then use Regular. (Use it 4 camp n then talk 2 ur mom about it. Hi Sweety, NO it will not do what u asked, when i was ur age, i thought the same thing and i'm fine, i have 3 kid's, boy 18 girl 17 and girl soon to b 11... it's so funny that u ask that, my oldest daughter did to at ur age, but she was 14 when we started her on pearl regular that's whats comfy for her... enjoy camp but wear a pad for at night when going to bed ok.. ur friend maggie 07.. ur young and don't let that stop u from having fun.. I also plan my vacation's after i get mine, and i'm 42.. i hate it, it's a pain in the u know what for me now... HAVE FUN <<<<< Be careful also

sneek a tampon in your bag and don't tell your mom, or borrow a tampon from a friend at camp! you do not want to wear a pad in the water...it will soak all the water up just like a diaper!

well to be completely honest with u its not up to Ur mom weather or not to use tampons its your body and if u want to wear them wear them. just be sure to get the right absorbency for Ur flow and change them every 6 hrs. and make sure to read the pamphlet that comes with them so u will know all about them. good luck and have fun

Try them anyway. It should be your decision. You can buy some or even borrow a few from a friend. Just make sure to practice utting one in before going to the park.

i would wear a tampon anyway since it is not your moms decision what you wear especailly for that time of the month

i honestly don't wear them either just get some and use it that's wat i'd do and have tons of fun!
