yeah pretty much! i am known for the quiet type but i am not really that what i am doing is sitting back and watching how each person moves and what they are about before i engage in any conversations with them

I am because I am shy, so when there are people around me I listen and learn more than anything. It isn't too bad because when I have something to say people will usually listen to me!! Not always, but more times than not! I think alot of times it is much better to sit back and observe , than sticking your foot in your mouth right away! LOL!!

depends on the subject. I pick up on social cues and personalities but don't pick up on all the verbal content as much.

i'm an abosrber. i'll just sit quietly and obeserve everything that goes on. then when the information can be used to some advantage....out it comes and everyone is suprised because they thought i wasn't paying attention....
