Yes because you don't want to give advice to someone of a younger age that should be reserved for adults only, but then again, people lie about their age and you will have pedophiles in the kids one and kids in the adult one.

Why do you think they have game and comics forums? That's to appeal to a younger demographic. Kids will mainly go there because that's where their realm of knowledge is. Most kids won't be in here because they can't fully grasp the questions and will probably get bored around adults.

Yes, because it would squeeze out some people that don't genuinely want to be here, plus it would put underage kids in a more appropriate place. ;-)
