The leader of the Scottish Nationalist Party is not satisfied with being a Big Fish in a Little Pond.
He is deliberately inciting unrest between our two peoples by dishing out "Freebies" to the Scots:in order to irritate the English.
His game plan is this:
Break with the English and ally with France("The Auld Alliance")
In return for siding with France (and Germany)
he can help them out-vote other EU members!
And France will vote for big subsidies for Scotland.
HOWEVER, France wants to RULE the EU and Scotland will end just a puppet,BEGGING France not to cut off money that Scotland desperately needs!

That's odd, I thought it was Tories like Boris Johnson who were stirring this issue up. Read for example:

Lets see... unresearched opinion. I think I've summed your question up. And that's Scottish National Party, not nationalist.
You think Alex Salmond's only idea in government is to 'irritate the English?' Well bringing in stuff to Scotland to make Scotland a better place to live might well irritate the English, but that's what's better known as 'sour grapes.'

English students having to pay fees isn't Scottish law, it's European, therefore you can't blame the Scottish parliament for it.
It's not Scotland's fault that drugs used by the NHS in Scotland aren't authorised on the grounds of cost in England, it's Englands. If your authorities managed the money a little better NICE might have authorised them.

Salmond wants Scotland to be a member of the EU. This is not the same as wanting to support Germany and France. France and Germany can't vote for anything on their own, they need approval from across Europe. Clearly you know nothing about European legisaltion.

Scotland has been an English puppet for years. There's no way on this planet we'd give up independence to Europe after just getting it from England.

And I think you'll find you've been deluded by the same financial bollocks that succesive Westminster governments have spouted. Yes, they're quite happy to say how much money goes to Scotland, but they NEVER say how much Scotland has contributed to that amount in the first place. Go check for yourself.

Your propaganda does not stand up to scrutiny.

Stupid, ignorant, home counties Sun Reader? That about sums you up dude doesn't it? Quite apart from that I have nothing more to say to you. Get a life & do some real research before posting stupid & inflammatory questions like the one you posted.

I'm going to go one further & say it's people like you that are fuelling the arguments between the English & the Scots!

this may come as a surprise to you but the SNP were voted in because they promised to make life better for the Scots. and they are doing just that.
instead of bitching about how well Scotland is being run ,get a grip of your own MPs.
dragging Scotland down to England's level wont help you.
