I would go with American Eagle - its what all the high school kids are wearing. Abercrombie is a solid choice too but more expensive. Also, don't be afraid of the gap or express either.
For sneakers - I'd go to journeys.

buy clothes with american eagle symbols, Aeropostale clothes, Hollister clothes, Abercrombie and Fitch, and shop at Reed's and buy a Northface jacket! Now you'll be stylin'!

it depends on ur style. if ur preppy go 2 hollister definantly and also american eagle has REALLY good guy clothes.
also check out pacific sunwear.
