Again, It's just a documentary and Bush's own words does him them most damage just like Fahrenheit 9/11. As we see, the rightwing wackos can only slander it, but, can't refute the facts laid out in the movie. Do you think it will cause any change in the crooked Health Care system?

when it's a video of Bush making the statements, it's impossible to call it a misquote.

LOL The right are like a bad version of the pied piper with the Bush supporters following Dumbya over the cliff of lies and failure. Sicko is just a documentary. Quit whining. If ya don't like reality, well tuff luck. those who still support bush are psychologically weak people...

I thought the movie was brilliant, its true that once you have an illness like cancer and your not insured nobody will give you insurance and even a wealthy person will be bankrupt. Its also true that HMOS are awful and alot of people wind up dying under that insurance...
One thing that was misleading in the movie is how great the English health care is. One of my best friends is from britain and she told me its not good. There is a wait of months to have surgery and they tax their citizens high for their health care.
I dont think their should be universal health care but they have to change the HMOS and they cant bankrupt people who have no insurance--their should be some kind of plan for those not insured...
I think the movie is a HUGE WAKE UP CALL to those who are walking around with NO INSURANCE.. I hate to say it but I do not have any because I graduated from a top art college and I am making good money as a freelance designer but I'm not insured. This movie scared me so much that I am going to go buy my own private health plan.. I had GHI for awhile which was great, its $250 a month.. but Its a must...
People have to learn in this country that if you want good insurance you have to pay for it, simple as that,,,
thats how this country is working, if not just hope for the best.....
Let me add that just because you have good insurance or even wealthy, nothing is going to protect you from the horrors of US Hospitals,, most people check in and never check out.. The numbers are staggering. ...I would like to see Moore cover that topic.

The problem is that pretty much all of Michael Moore's documentaries have made significant blunders, misinterpretations, misquotes, or context errors to make them look more right than they really are. Don't get me wrong, I think he's great and for the most part his points are right on the mark, but his showmanship gets in his way and hurts his credibility. For example, in "Bowling for Columbine," he tried to make a connection between the school violence and the "secret" military presence in the area... only to have it turn out that the "missles" that were marched through the city at night were only done so because of traffic problems, and they were not even missles. They were for satellites. Now all people have to do is point to the inaccuracy of this episode to cast doubt on the rest of it. I have not seen "Sicko" yet, but all of his former documentaries have had their impact reduced because few people take him that seriously, even in the liberal crowd. If "Sicko" is like his other works, he will make a very great and valid point, but it will be diluted by misquotes and staged episodes, which could lead to his documentary being an interesting story that will "speak to the choir," but will have little impact on what he is arguing against. I hope I am wrong, but I'll have my doubts until evidence suggests otherwise.

You're right that they are Bush's own words, Michael moore twists them around any way to make the viewers see his point. He over-edits to the point where it should be considered criminal. Personally, I think Mr. Moore is the real sicko.
Why doesn't Mr. Moore talk about the World Healthcare crisis? If he really cared about others instead of his own political agenda, he would see that most of the world doesn't have healthcare. But, instead, he is too worried about splitting this country up and de-Americanizing us. If he thinks that this country is so corrupt, he should stop living here. he should move to Iran and make a movie about how corrupt they are...oh, that's right, America is one of the only countries where you can make a movie about how corrupt the government is and not get executed for it.
RESPONSE: I refute.

Haven't seen it. Won't see it. Know enough about Michael Moron to know that this is NOT a documentary. None of his movies are. Our healthcare system is in no way perfect, but I will take it any day over Cuba's. If he is so impressed with Castro's regime, then he needs to change his name to Miguel and move the hell down there. Can guarantee you if he did a "documentary" against Castro down there, he wouldn't live to see the premier.

Well if you don't like spin why do you "believe" in Moore? Have to admit he's the best damn infomercial producer out there but I'm always disappointed I don't get a Ginsu knife set at the end of the program.

I dunno, but it should've been named Fatso. As in "The Idle Mindless Ramblings of a Fatso."
He was citing non-existent statistics on Letterman; he cited the death of feverish child as the rule, not the exception.
The man has an agenda; when will you mindless libs learn to think for yourselves and view material with a critical eye and with discernment?? At least the cons are realizing, thanks to the ability to think for themselves, that Bush ain't the great white savior either.
