First off, I am 15, and pretty healthy. I am involved in sports, and eat pretty health, but I am always tired all the time. I sleep most of the time that I am at home. When I am not out, I am probably at home sleeping. My routine throughout the school year was to wake up around 5:25- 5:35 and go to school. As soon as I get out of school at 2:30, I'd come home and sleep till about 5:00-7:00 pm. And stay up till about 11:15 pm. Then i'd go back to sleep, and the routine repeats. I literally have to force myself to get out of bed, and to wake up. It takes all my willpower to do so. I don't understand what could be making me so tired all the time. Im not on any medication, im not depressed or anything. Please respond, and try to explain why this is happening.

Its time to have your doctor test your blood for iron as well as diabetes, possibly thyroid as well.

Sleeping a lot as a teen is normal, but if you find that you are having that hard of a time, please talk to your doc to figure out what is causing this.

Good luck kiddo!

First of all you have to make an appointment with a doctor to make you some blood work to see if your body is lacking of something. I believe you have to start there. That happened to me I time ago and by the time I went to the doctor I was almost in a anemic state. I did eat allot but my body wasn't absorbing it the way it is suppose to. Now I'm OK thanks to my doctor. Please see a health professional to talk about this it could be a couple of thinks. Which you well.

I use to have the same problem, my dad suggested that I was sleeping too much. So I slept for only seven hours a night (with no naps) and it actually made me more energetic. Also make sure that you get seven hours of sleep all at the same time, not a little here and a little there.

You are not ill...it is quite normal for teenages to sleep alot.

As you feel it is becoming a problem I would suggest that you go to the doctor for a check up.

Good luck

You are just fine... I use to feel this way too, all you need is a great multivitamin and energy boosters. But the natural ones. Please check my website and have your parents take a look.
