Well, to tell you the truth, most cosplayers make their costumes, so don't expect to be able to just buy the whole thing. Go to a fabric store, get the color and material you need, and sew it into your costume! As for wigs, you'll have to buy one. You'll probably have to make your own props too, unless a halloween store has them or something.

I've tried cosplaying before, and to save money, I went to a thrift shop, found a skirt with the color I needed, and just hemmed that to the right length and design so I wouldn't have to make the whole thing.

many cosplayers will make they're own costumes or they might go to a thrift store and buy similar items and adjust them a bit, if you're lucky there might be a store specializing in costumes near you. you might find some stuff on e-bay if you look hard enough, good luck!

There aren't too many cheap gothic lolita brands. Stuff like moi meme moitie and h.Naoto is all suuupper expensive. Most people who can't afford the usual brands sew their own clothes.

1) most cosplayers make their items; so they shop regularly at fabric stores, craft stores and if they make their own weapons, you can find them at some home improvement stores, pick ing up wood and such
