Unfortunately the GOP is not doing well right now. The Democratic party is doing only a little better. The one saving grace for the Democrats is the screw ups of the Bush Administration assures them a victory next year. There will be some good main stream Republicans who would ordinarily win who won't because of the R beside their name and the association of that R with Bush.

Democrats

What is the difference? Demos and Repos both cut upper bracket taxes, oppose single payer, are reluctant to protect the environment, back up tyrants abroad and want to bomb Iran.
Both Demos and Repos work for corporations. Not for You.
The only candidates that offer a different agenda get no air time and therefore no attention.
So, what is the difference?

edit: did someone really compare Demos and Reepos to Communists and Nazis? Whoa! Kid, learn some history. The XXth century is full of wars where communist were fighting nazis. They are in opposite ends of the spectrum. The US is sooo far to the right, it helped many nazis escape yet it murdered every communist it could get its hands on. There may not be very many commies in this country, but you can be sure fascists abound.
Deemos and Reepos are not opposite and bad. They are the same. You dont have a democracy because ther is no choice.

Worse how? Most business growth? Most economic expansion? Fastest upward mobility across all income groups? Lowest tax rates for ALL filers? Lowest unemployment? Most new business creation? More women-owned businesses? Largest proportion of taxes paid by the rich? Then it's the Republicans - hands down.

Honestly, I would say both. The problem our Nation faces is no longer what party will have its representative elected but how susceptible to lobbyist and personal interest groups they are. I truly believe that we are no longer lead by a president and a government but by consortium of Co. like Drugs Co, Oil Co, financial market Co etc.

Republicans. The social conservatives and the evangelicals have hijacked this party. I am all for religion but this is ridiculous.

Neither, they're the same. Just as bad. Everyone knows that deep down. They complain no matter who is in office or who controls congress.

The question to ask is: what can we do about it?
