His numbers and multiple MVP awards make that obvious.

They both bring quite a bit to the ballpark. Alex has better power and is an offensive minded playter where Jeter just wants to get on base and score a run. Defensively they are both more than adequate at thier positions but Jeter makes unbelievable plays. That play where he flipped the ball to posada to tag out Jeremy Giambi is no doubt the greatest play I've ever seen.
I think if I had to chose it would be Jetes.

it's tough...a-rod has a LOT more home runs and more power
jeter has a higer batting average. .342 vs. a-rods .315
both have GREAT numbers dont get me wrong.
but jeter keeps his cool and has a big heart also doesnt go to places where trouble could get started. (no im NOT dissing a-rod im saying jeter doesn't)
so if you could only have one i'd say jeter hes a great captain, and SS and just loves baseball!!

What a tough question... in a world with fantasy sports we as fans have become numbers based... so in that case its A-Rod of course. But although I'm not a Yankee fan, Jeter's baseball IQ and leadership are amazing. Tough call, but who would you rather start a franchise with... it's still A-Rod for me.

I would say A-Rod becase he has more homeruns.But you have to give Jeter creadit though.

shure arod has more homeruns and power, but if i could only have one of these guys on my team, id take jeter, hes a team leader and has a great attitude. he comes to play and win. but theyare both good. good thing yankees have both =p
