You are not fighting terrorism ,there is no war against terrorism .and to go even further than that in the eyes of the rest of the world you are the terrorists even the slimy traitor Blair for all his sucking up George Bush has realised this and is is now sending his Diplomats out to other countries to try and shove his share of the blame onto American shoulders. His latest pathetic excuse that he`s putting about is ,that he only joined in with the US because he was convinced that if he didn`t America intended to nuke Afghanistan ..and as for all the Americans on here that are still being taken in by the complete crap your government feeds you .its easy to find the real facts if you can be bothered to look .

There were terrorists long before 9/11! Ireland had the IRA ( Irish Republican Army)! What about Turkey trying to snuff out the Kurds? The fact that we are in Iraq is not about terrorism! Its about oil and only oil. If it were about what happened on 9/11, all of our forces would be fighting in Afghanistan,or better yet, Saudia Arabia! The majority of the men who crashed the planes were after all Saudia Arabian!. Oh! But wait! . There's that pesky problem about annoying the oil emerits!. Our troops are getting killed in Iraq because Bush wants the oil, and that's all it for!

Don't be silly!
If that was so why does Iraq (Mesopotamia) and Iran (Persia) have a long long history of war and conquest in their own region then? Afgans, Iraqis and Iranians are not Arabs btw they also hate Arabs a lot for their own political and cultural reasons. Just right now the West is a nice scapegoat for their political agenda. Or did you not notice that Kuwait, Saudi and many other Muslim states continuously require Western protection against places like Iran.

i think of if we knew the basis reason for terrorism, shall we positioned an end to that, and then there would not be any terrorism for us to combat. i don't think of we will ever comprehend "the basis reason" although, with the aid of fact terrorism can stem from fairly some countless issues. there is the "Jihad" verse interior the Koran. there is financial oppression. there is mentally risky human beings like Timothy McVeigh. the difficulty of terrorism is any such customary danger, and is going back to date that almost all languages have developed a be conscious for the human beings who commit this manner of act. Terrorism would in actuality be a human function, an unlucky, merciless, and evil variety of habit which on the same time is the inevitable results of incorproating sufficient human beings right into a society. with the aid of that gentle, we can not extra end terrorism than we can end rape, homicide, and poverty.

You're young and .....pointless. Live in an arab country for 5 years and your mind will change drastically. Try picking up a Quran and you'll know that irregardless of what the U.S.'s foreign policy is (of which I'm POSITIVE you know nothing about or could tell anyone what it actually is) the sole JOB of islam is make the entire world submit to it's authority. Terrorists are running rampant because the US is too busy playing footsie with oil sheiks when they should be nuking them out of existence. Those people will never change. They haven't changed in thousands of years - it won't be happening any time soon.

Terrorists are not Terrorists because they are angry. Yes, I will give it to you that we have shot ourselves in the foot several times with our meddling with the middle east since 1950. Lets see - we ousted a democratically elected Prime Minister (Iran), allied ourselves with Saddam, and gave tons of tax payers money to Osama for training and weapons to kill Soviets.
Terrorists do what they do because they are religious fundamentalists. Doesnt matter if we stop now, they will keep trying to kill us.
Let me ask you something...what were we doing in 2001 to cause the bombings directly? Nothing, at that point in time our interaction with the middle east was pretty low. But naive and unrealistic people like you dont realize that people will hate you for the sake of hating you. Terrorists hate us for many reasons, but the main being that we are the "infidel" and they are so high strung they have to get everyone to be a Muslim and act like a Muslim.
We let Osama do whatever he wanted during the Clinton administration and look where that got us. These are people that are willing to kill women and children for their beliefs. Not much different from the Christian crusaders 800 years ago.
Terrorists need to try working for a living and stop telling people what to do. I know American isnt innocent in all this but people like you who say we create these guys are not helping it either.

If you think that terrorists are upset because "the West gives them alot to be angry about" then you don't understand terrorism at all.
Terrorism is more about wanting to cause death and mayhem under the guise of following a political, social, or religious cause. In fact, terrorsts don't really care about politicis, social issues, or even religious--they care about death. Period.
If the West left the Middle East tomorrow and didn't have any dealings with them whatsoever, there would still be terrorists.
Besides...there are terrorists in places other than the Middle East.

I don't know where you were when the first plane hit the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, but many people in this country seem to have forgotten. This is not a war that they started over what we are doing - this is a war the radical Muslims started over their belief - a belief so strong that they would murder innocent people because they believe they will see Ala. This is not a commitment to protect their country, yet a commitment to incite other countries to fight back, and we have. Stop asking why our president is trying to protect our nation, and ask why the Democratic president did NOT!

Yup it is Bush's fault, every bad thing that ever has happened is Bush's fault. He killed Elvis, caused Pearl Harbor, bombed the twin towers and was the shooter on the grassy knoll.
Remember the media quoted "sources in the Bush Administration" He has a time machine, didn't you know that?

There is always two sides to one story, and in one story there are many.
Why were they originally fighting in their own country? Religion? Politics? Theory? Who knows?
Why are our soldiers dying?
Because the government says so!

Has anyone heard the new Linkin' Park song? I think it is the most amazing and fantastic song at the moment.
"In this fair world, theres no blood, theres no allibi, cuz' I've drawn regret, from the truth, of a thousand lies.
So let mercy come, and wash away, what I've done."
If that is not a fantastic verse and beginning to a chorus then I do not know what is.
It is amazing what truth is fuelled from lies, and in order to not cause conspiracy theory, I shall make my answer simple.
If the government stomped out the root cause, there would be no terrorists.
Correct?
If there are no terrorists, there is nobody wishing to fight back.
Correct?
If there is nobody fighting back, there is no war.
Correct?
If there is no war, we have no reason to fight.
Correct?
If there is no reason to fight, we have peace.
Correct?
If we have peace, we need no government to protect.
Correct?
Think about it.
