there is no consensus on anthropogenic causes of GW and in fact, the debate rages on but only one side is getting their point of view, and their science, in front of the public and the opposition is being marginalized and systematically silenced. the latest amnesty bill was overwhelmingly rejected by the people and yet, the politicians are not taking no for an answer and will pass some form of this bill whether we like it or not.
now, it has been said that in order to get people to cooperate for the good of the whole requires sanctions that make lack of cooperation expensive.

have the powers that be decided that for the good of the whole we need to accept the economic and cultural changes that these issues bring and are you willing to accept that america will be changed forever if those powers get their way?

You'll understand how people feel about global warming when you do some actual research and find that there is virtual consensus in the scientific community. There will always be a couple "scientists" who will say whatever you want to hear for money. Look at the evolution "debate."
And you need to look up some poll numbers and the word "overwhelmingly" to understand the immigration thing.

EDIT: Even if all you do is type "global warming" into Yahoo's search engine, the first result, the EPA, has this to say:
"Greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere will increase during the next century unless greenhouse gas emissions decrease substantially from present levels. Increased greenhouse gas concentrations are likely to raise the Earth's average temperature, influence precipitation and some storm patterns as well as raise sea levels. The magnitude of these changes, however, is uncertain."

That's the bare minimum of research, and even it tells you that the govenment agency charged with understanding the environment and protecting it says the Earth will get hotter in the next century due to mankind unless we limit greenhouse gas emmissions. Now you tell me who these scientists are who are being silenced.
And I didn't answer your question about the relationship between illegal immigrants and global warming because it is stupid and makes no sense. Again, please stop listening to talk radio.

The only clear connection I can make is the career politicians in Congress have taken the final leap, they now act like they rule us whereas prior to this they used to think they ruled us.

Until we remove career politicians from Congress the US will continue to decline, and will happen much faster if we do not stop the socialists in Congress now.
