He got injured, tore a bicep. The storywriters made him lose the belt to Edge, who was in theory his replacement. Undertaker is to be out of action for 6-8 months due to surgery and recovery.

he tore his left bicep muscle durring the last man standing match with batista at backlash, then kennedy got injured in a house show and dropped the mone in the bank to edge. then edge cashed it in on SD after the cage match and wone the title, the dead man had surgery on his arm last month, and will return in 6-9 months
