Can you prove that the holocaust happened in the magnitude that we have been taught? I dont think that it happened like it has been told.

Generally, our history books are biased--we are taught what certain people want us to know.
Sometimes, the real story is exposed.
For instance, we are usually told that "six million Jews perished in the 'Holocaust'". That number is not the actual figure--it has been revised since WWII, from as high as 12 million, down to (according to the Soviets) about 2.45 million. So, it depends on whom you talk to.
Then, there are the other millions of people, persecuted by the Nazis--Gypsies, Catholics, etc. We generally don't hear about them--those in control don't care, but they care about the Jews...

Have you actually studied history? Not 'history' with a revisionist point of view but the actual facts of what happened.

Better yet, forget third hand knowledge and go to the camps. The atrocities there are engrained in the very earth and even a very insensitive person will be affected. THEN do some research and find all the hundreds of thousands of people that never made it to a camp.

Then, if you can manage to keep your sick views to yourself for an hour, go visit a holocaust museum or talk with someone who was there. They can give you a first hand experience.

I hope you truly are curious and will take what people to say to heart. If you're just a hater trying to incite violence then I feel sorry for you.

Well I can't personally prove it But the mass graves and tons of human ash we found stand to reason that something pretty bad happened. I wasn't there or even alive at that point but still I think it happened, after all, Can You Prove It didn't happen to the magnitude at which we have benn taught.

The Holocaust was just one of the many most devastating events in human history. It is also one of the most documented. Let the The Nuremburg Trials speak for themselves. Visit Germany and visit the places that were once the concentration camps. Let the artifacts and the remnants of those terrible days speak for themselves.

I think that it was most-likely even worse than what we have been taught because so many bodies were probably incinerated and disposed of long before those psycho's got caught!

What does it matter if it was smaller or larger? The very fact that it happened at all is a horror and injustice in itself!

I have watched numerous History Channel presentations of the Holocaust. I have no doubt that it happened exactly like history says it happened, but I have a problem with the numbers. It was still horrific even in lessor numbers, but they just don't seem to add up to 6,000,000.

Wow, I don't think someone here has a brain. Can you prove that they do?

I bet you think Hitler was simply misunderstood, also.

I'll tell you something. I am distantly related to the Hitler family, of which I am not proud. I wish the pathetic SOB was alive today only so that I might have the pleasure of taking hand in killing him personally. That people don't believe the atrocities he visited on thousands upon thousands of people happened or happened as badly as they did sickens me. I don't know what you've been taught, but I sincerely doubt that it was anywhere near as disgusting and degenerated as it actually was.

You can report me if you like for how I've chosen to respond to such a sick question.

I have learned that there is no amount of proof in any form that will change the mind of a hard core conspiracy theory believer.

Actual film taken at the camps, living eye-witnesses, Nazi German documents, etc and the list of hard proof goes on.

All considered to be faked or embellished no matter how many sources they come from or how reliable.

You tell us. What would it take to convince you? How many survivors must you talk to? How many documents must you read? How much cross corroborating evidence do you need?

Just because you choose not to believe it doesn't make it untrue.

It happened, it happened in the numbers that have been reported, and it happened in the way it has been reported.

Since you think events have been exaggerated, let me pose two counter-questions:

Who decided to exaggerate the magnitude of the events?

Why would they choose to do this?

Perhaps you would like to speak to my friend Fanya, who survived Trebkinka. How her family was wiped out and all that survived was a cousin.

How they were exterminated without thought to who they were. The faded number tatooed on her left arm.

Do you want to hear her story? (Better hurry, she is 83 and may not be with us much longer)

Then I suggest that you find the evidence to prove that 6 million Jews weren't wiped out, along with homosexuals, gypsies and the deformed.
