Hi, I am currently living the UK and am thinking about what I want to do as a career. Medicine appeals to me...but i can be a bit squeamish at times. I wondered what is on a standard medicine course in the UK and also if we have to do/watch a human dissection?

Thanks!

Cadaver dissection is mandatory in the study of medicine. If you are squeamish, you should pick a career that has nothing to do with medicine, or dentistry, for that matter.
Physical, occuational, speech and respiratory therapies can all be pretty gross if practiced in a medical setting; I wouldn't recommend these, either. The same is true of a physician's assistant (PA, which is WAY different than a medical assistant).
If you like science, be a lab technician.
