That is the job of the government, the Queen does not have the political power to do it. If the government opened training centres to teach building trades, it would be more to the point. The students would have a well-paying trade and could afford their own houses.
Of course, you already know this, and are just on one of your usual rants.

She does in a way. She has grace and favour residences in her palaces for former servants of the crown, pensioners who live rent-free in apartments called Grace and Favour Residences, which the crown granted to "deserving" subjects by "the Grace and Favour of the Sovereign." You might say that they would be homeless otherwise. One of these old ladies caused the fire in Windsor Castle when she fell asleep with candles burning. That kind of thing would put anyone off converting palaces for the homeless.

Thats a horrible idea. Aren't there enough cardboard boxes in the world to shelter these people?

give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to catch his own and you feed him for life.
I think it would be better for the "queen" to push for training of the homeless and unemployed to make them more employable so they can get their own homes.

Absolutly! the ,so deemed, 'rich and famous' are always trying to be snapped by paparazi, doing something for charity...but wouldn't it be better to actually donate some of their own unnecessary money and property than encouraging others to donate?!

sure... but why would she? she has money, so why not build more? it would then create JOBS for the homeless and give them a place to live
