"No Child Left Behind" Decoded?

Question

Okay, most people can agree this bill makes very little sense, but I think I figured out why it was passed. Public schools have people with disabilities who drag down the test scores due to this bill. Private schools don't accept them. Because of this, private schools seem better because of their test scores. People will then send their children to private schools. Private schools teach religion. Religious people vote Republican. Sounds solid, probably not true, just thought of it when I found out broke people can now go to private school.

I think that's about right, but the thing is that Schools in Texas do a thing called TAKS testing and this is part of the George W. Bush's NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND, but the teachers spend most of the school year teaching towards the TAKS test. But they don' t know what is actually gonna be on the test. To me it just seems pointless to me.

no child left behind was implemented to cut funds away from education an put them towards intelligence and the military. When no child left behind was enacted there were very few schools that met the criteria and received their full funding. It took a half the schools at least 3 years to meet the requirements. So, where did all of that money go? Iraq, Afghanistan

Don't mean to disagree, but I went to a private, all girls' school and I'm a Democrat.

Even if the parents are staunch Republicans, it doesn't mean that the children will be. I have several friends (including myself) who purposely went the opposite way because of our experiences in Private Schools.

No child left Behind= Sucks to be you if you're smart.
