Broadly speaking, yes they are all compatible. In keeping neon's, you have to take care of one very vital point, and that is, the tankmates should not have mouth's big enough for the neon's to fit in.

They are well mistaken as food by other tankmates due to their attractive colors. Fishes do recognize colors as you know.

I have 3 platy (1M/2F) and just got 7 neons. They seem to do well together. 2 of the neons like to chase each other around the tank while the others stay in a school. They 3 platy came up to see what they were at first, but they now have no interest in them. All swim about, sometimes even swimming in one big school, neons and platy together. Very cool. I'll be adding a dwarf Gourami in a few weeks as well as 1 or 2 cory fish. Hope you have a great tank set up and good luck!

It's not so much a question of will they get along with each other, it's more about their needs and requirements. Neon Tetras Danios and Gouramis should be fine, as they both like soft, acidic water, but Mollies need hard, alkaline water. Do a pH test. If it's between 6.5 and 7.0, it's best for the Tetras, Gouramis and Danios, but if it's above, Mollies and other livebearing fish such as Guppies, Platies, Swordtails and Endlers are far better, and will be happier.

I trust ohmyohdeer's remark approximately blending the Neon Tetras with Gouramis. Male Gouramis are merely as territorial as Male Bettas. warning is needed whilst blending those 2 species. upload the Neon Tetras first, then wait a week or 2 till now including the Pygmy/sparkling Gourami.

Kathryn is correct about the mollies - they should be considered a brackish water fish and need harder water than the others. They may also be a little bit of bullies to the smaller neons. The danios are active (some would say hyperactive) but if you provide enough cover (plants, real or silk) the neons will stay out of their way.

You can look at this link to see what other fish would be compatible with the neons: http://www.elmersaquarium.com/c106community1.htm Note that when the site says small (as in small pleco or clown loach) these will eventually need a much larger tank - if you can't provide this, it would be best to avoid these fish.
