How will chapter 7 affect where a person lives?

a relative wants to rent an apartment but filed chapter 7 bankruptcy a month ago and probably wont be discharged for another 4 months. Will they be able to rent an apartment even with the discharge and a good paying job???

Probably won't be allowed to rent because credit rating will be too low for most landlords. Some might if they pay extra deposits or prepay the entire lease.
