Comedian Bill Engvall said it best: "Men are only concerned about three things -- eating, sleeping, sex." It's a bit of an oversimplification, but most men are pretty simple (READ: We're not that difficult to figure out).

How do our minds work? Men are generally more logical and rational, whereas women are generally more emotional. That's why men make such good engineers and computer gurus -- those jobs involve logic. We've been socialized not to let our feelings show, and that's where a lot of women get upset because they think men don't care. Sure we do! We're just not as demonstrative as women are.

The biggest problem a man will ever face is trying to figure out a woman. That whole logic program men use does NOT work with women. While there are exceptions to the rule, men are usually not as petty as women, and men generally don't have to have their egos stroked as much as women do. Women want to hear their man say "You look great!" and want to turn heads in bars/clubs, but men couldn't care less. Men are very straightforward when talking to other men or to women, but women have this bad habit of overanalyzing and trying to "read in" something that's not there. For example, if you're at a party and your guy says "Can we go? I'm not feeling well," women instantly start thinking "What's going on? Doesn't he like my friends? Is he ashamed to be seen with me? Have I made him mad?" No, HE JUST DOESN'T FEEL WELL AND HE WANTS TO GO HOME!!!
