To tell the truth, I can't remember. I know that when I was fourteen, I did have a wild phase that ended when I was 17, which was a total turnaround from when I was 13 and in the honor society. But I guess my mom figured I got it out of my system and never said anything about it.

But my mother wasn't very strict, in fact, it was almost like me and my sisters made the rules. There was no structure.

When I started work. Around 16. Pity really. If I could have stayed out late two years earlier I'd have seen Jimi Hendrix play at the Refectory Pub in Golders Green, North London, when he first came to the UK.

Well, by the time I came around (I'm the youngest of four), my parents were pretty flexible on curfews. By the time I was 16 I set my own curfews. By 17 I had graduated high school and moved out, so I made my own rules after that.

It depends on what you consider late .. at 13 I was allowed to stay out till 11pm but I had to check in with a phone call by 10pm to tell my parents where they could pick me up.

My mom raised three kids alone and let us grow up by learning alone...we never had curfews or had to sneak out...we never had to tell her where we were going or if we stayed overnight no need to call...we just kinda found our own ways...ive never been grounded in my life either...and i turned out to be a well grounded person...i know whats good and whats not and my limits...the only problem i have now is that i hate authority any type of it over me cause im not used to it ya know...no one tells me what to do and no one will probably be able to ever lol...

I was 16 when I got to go out but I couldn't go unless My Brother was with me. I got to stay out until 11:00pm.

Edit... I often wonder why people find it necessary to give thumbs down on a question/answer such as this one. Not just with my answers but a lot of peoples... I answer the question with a proper answer, it's not like I made a rude commit. Everyone that got hit by the thumbs down bandit on this question I gave ya a thumbs up :-)
