This past week when I got into my car, I noticed the passenger side floor board in the front seat was really wet. I turned the car on and within minutes the temperature was the highest it would go on the gauge ( 260 ). I could then see smoke coming through the vents and smell antifreeze, but no leaking from any hoses or under the car?? There is no smoke coming from under the hood and the radiator is full!! Help please

Heater core is bad. You can pop the hood and disconnect both of the hoses going to the heater core....then connect the two hoses together. This will at least let you drive it around until you can get it replaced at a shop. Make sure to top off the antifreeze.
Hope this helps :)

Your heater core has split and is leaking coolant. Quit driving as you say the temp. is getting way too hot or fill up coolant system and take to a garage to get fixed. These are not the easiest jobs to do as most have to remove a bunch of the dash if not the complete dash for access at the core. Look under the hood at where the heater hoses enter the passenger compartment. If the core can be removed from under the hood you will see a bunch of screws holding a panel onto the firewall. If all you see is the two heater hoses and some foam sticking around where it enters, the core has to come out from under the dash. Good luck.

your heater core is leaking
antifreeze leaks into the heater box and into the inside of the car
when u start up it will steam up the inside thru the vents

u r running hot due to lack of coolant which is now in the carpeting instead of the radiator
$50-60 for the heater core plus whatever labor is charged
do not run the car hot or u will do serious damage

Your heater core exploded. You'll need to either get it replaced or bypassed (if you don't need heat).
