The Garth Nix trilogy- Sabriel, Lireal, Abhorsen. The Nine Great Charters:
One- Crown
Two- Abhorsen
Three- Stones/Wall
Four- Clayr
Five- Stones/Wall
Six- ????
Seven- Dog, I think....
Eight- Mogget (Yrael)
Nine- Destroyer (Orrannis)
Of the Nine Great Charters.... what's the sixth? And do they have any correlation to the bells? Becaue Dog is "what's left of Kibeth, in a watered-down sort of way" and they meet the Sorrowfull in the well under the Abhorsen's house.... explanations/help??? this is the only thing about those books I don't like.

I agree with your analysis on this. There is a point at which the story line has just sort of drifted off and I am lost as well.
