Anyone know this Heinlein story--I ran across a reference to it, but just the quote/scene from the end--they find the man who met the aliens dead, and he scratched into his skin with his fingernails: "Creation took eight days." Very frustrating--I thought I'd read all of his, but I guess not!

It is from the story Goldfish Bowl, originally published in the anthology The Menace from Earth (1942). Republished posthumously in the anthology Off the Main Sequence: The Other Science Fiction Stories of Robert A. Heinlein
