yes sounds like a good idea becasue more people can participate, especially if they have reasons they can not do join contact sports

i think they should..why not,i mean it is basketball team vs basketball team, swim team vs swim team and so forth..i think that this would be a good idea since there needs to be more competition and more emphasis on tennis since the HS's do not compete vs each other..what is the difference between tennis and other sports and how come they get to compete and there is no competition in tennis between 2 schools is because people are so narrow minded and are used to the usual sports that they forget to include tennis and they should..i believe that it would be an awesome opportunity and a new perspective

If there's enough people who are interested in the schools, and if there's enough coaches, and if there's funding, or you're willing to pay your own way, then sure.
But schools generally aren't going to set up a sport if only a few people want it.
You could build interest by trying to make it a school club. The school may be able to buy a table or two, if club members supply their own balls and paddles. If you get enough people interested, you could have a tournament. The next step is to find a club at another school, and have games against them. But it won't happen overnight - you'll have to work for it all.
