Yes! If you truly loved that person,then that love will always burn a flame inside your heart,no matter how small.Once you have truly and ultimately loved someone and given them your heart at one point,that never goes away.Even if you marry,have children,move on with your life,that love will ALWAYS be there.

Yes. I can and I do. Its been 10 years since he died but I don't even think of replacing him in my affections. It is no fantasy. Whatever we felt was real and I am not afraid of dying because I feel I will be united with him......

yes . . .I love my dad but he's been dead for over 30 years . . I love my brother even thought he doesn't talk to me or see me anymore. . I love my friend Sheryl even though I've lost touch with her and haven't seen her in 8 years . . I will always love my 1st boyfriend ( but not In Love with him) even though I don't know if he's still alive. . .

it could still be love...i've been broken up with my now ex for 7-8 months and i am still very much in love with him. so i wouldn't be surprised if the feeling could last for years.
although i also believe that every person you love in your life has a special place in your heart. you never forget it.
