I have to look away. Unless of course I am the one drawing the blood. . . . .it is better if I watch.

I look away if it's a shot. If it's a finger prick, I kind of watch, I don't know why. I don't LIKE to watch the doctor stick a needle in my finger or vein or anything, however!

I usually watch as I have horrible veins, they are tiny and like to hide, and I always have to tell them where to go to get a vein...

Look away or I end up having reflex and hitting the needle away...if I watch with my children I faint......not a good thing.
I can turn my head and hold them.....but never look

I can watch but what gets me is the feeling itself of something in my vein that's not really supposed to be there.

I've watched the doctor close me up with stitches. He told me to look away and just relax. I just said, no, I'm fine.
It's my body, I'm going to watch and make sure it's done right thank you very much.
