1- He sends a letter of resignation as if to say, "see, I messed up and I am resigning". He is disbarred anyway, so it really doesn't matter if he resigns or not.

2- He apologizes to the players for his conduct, but turns around and says, "I still think something happened".

Is Nifong the biggest jerk of the this decade?

First of all, it is incredibly important in NC that he submit a letter of resignation since there is NO CURRENT LAW that requires him to step down even if disbarred!! As incredible as it seems, there was no government official or body that has the power to remove him from office. The General Assembly has been working on legislation that would allow the Governor to remove judges, and other elected officials, based on a different case of a judge who was stripped of his law license but did not immediately leave office.

As for his apology, no one will be satisfied with whatever he says at this point. It's moot.

2. Nifong
3. Paris.
4. Kobe.
5. The New York Yankees.

That DA became a comedian tale, he became up for reelection and desperate to earnings on untrue information and smash the lives of harmless youthful men. many human beings seem to think of that he became pushing the situation because of the fact the stripper became African American and he became attempting to get the African American vote. The DA became rediculas, he claimed the lads to be responsible till now even seeing one shread of information or talking to the alleged "sufferer" for 9 months. (She even recieved a scholarship because of the fact the DA believed that "no female could could dance her way with the aid of college," is he going to grant all unique dancers scolarships??? of direction not) this subject had absoutaly no reason or information that could supply probabale reason for an ordeal. between the lads, I cant undergo in concepts his call (something with an R) issued a assertion as quickly as they have been found harmless and in it he did not as quickly as question the charater of anypersons, he did not place any blame, particularly he thanked his acquaintances and family participants for status by utilizing him and his teamates. That shows genuine classification.

Unfortunately, I think a lot of people in the legal system are only looking to win their cases, regardless of whether they have the right "suspect" or not.. If they think they can win, and better their record, thats all they really care about. I think that many of these people serve their own ego's above all else.
