Not at all. They have regular routes, it's not uncommon for them to know the names of the people they deliver to.
My mom actually got hooked up with the UPS guy who delivered to her work about 12 years ago. They only dated a couple months. Now I'm married to his son. His whole family works for them - dad, sister, brother-in-law, and my hubby are all drivers. And they all know many people on their routes.

No...not at all. I thought everyone knew their UPS man by name. When I was younger, my UPS man delivered to both my mother and I..she was across town. Before he knew we were related, he asked if she had a daughter that worked at the place he delivered. (we look a lot alike!)

not at all, I know my UPS, Fed Ex, and DHL drivers by name...of course I work in the receiving dock :)
